Jessica returned to Amarillo for family — but even a heart attack weeks before opening couldn't stop her. She opened the doors in 2015 with one conviction: cook real food, take care of people, and build something that lasts.
Made From Scratch, Always
Everything starts from nothing — the sausage, the biscuits, the sourdough, the Hatch green chile, the jalapeño bacon regulars drive across town for. Scratch-made isn't a tagline here; it's the only way we know how to cook.
The Case That Stops You
Walk in and the pastry case gets you every time — croissants, cinnamon rolls, cakes, and a Coconut Cream Pie with its own devoted following. It changes daily, and every bit of it is made in-house.
Amarillo's Gathering Place
Named after the Spanish word for sunflower, Girasol is where Amarillo marks its moments — birthdays, quinceañeras, reunions, and ordinary Tuesday mornings that turn into something memorable. We saved you a seat.

Texas Bucket List filmed here. Amarilluh called us one of the city's best brunch spots. Airial Travel named us one of Amarillo's best bakeries in 2026. Our regulars already knew.
